Ha ha ha, nice! Yeah, I wouldn’t know how to put these GIFs together. I had to have my 21-year-old assistant designer help me upload the GIF yesterday in the first place.
Bryan uses himself as a reference= perfection.
Guys… Bryan Konietzko is officially super adorable.

Question of the Day
Korra Nation,
Now that you’ve all gotten a glimpse into the new Korra universe, we have a question we’d love to pick your brain on:
If you could have any single piece of Korra swag, what would it be? A Naga dog bowl? A Fire Ferrets t-shirt? A waterbending water bottle? Reblog, comment and let us know!
-Team Korra
4/8/2012
All that stuff sounds so amazing. How could I possibly choose? If I had to pick, it would definitely be a Fire Ferrets t-shirt.
Repeat after me:
I, as a member of the Avatar/Korra fandom, do hereby swear that I will not engage in ship wars. Whether I ship canon, non-canon, my ship isn’t canon and then becomes canon, my ship is canon and then stop being canon, is never canon, or is end game; I will treat other shippers, regardless of their ship, whether it is canon, non-canon, conflicts with my ship, or doesn’t appeal to me; with kindness and respect; even if I am not given kindness and respect in return.

Japanese Uses of Old Tea Leaves
Don’t throw away your used tea leaves anymore!! In Japanese, old tea leaves are called chagara (茶がら) and they can apparently be reused in various ways around the house.
—-
Cooking
- Dry the leaves, and then roast with soy sauce, mirin, and bonito flakes to make furikake (a topping for rice.)
-Add teas like genmai-cha (brown rice) and soba-cha (buckwheat) to fried rice.
-Add to tempura batter.
-Add to stir-fried vegetables.
-Add sugar and use to smoke meat, fish, etc.Home and Garden
- Sprinkle the chagara on the ground and sweep; it will pick up dust and grime.
- Dry and scatter in flowerbeds; it will act as a fertilizer and an insecticide.
Kitchen
- Dry and sprinkle in trashcan to eliminate odors.
- Zap the chagara in the microwave to eliminate food odors. Afterwards, use the dried leaves for another purpose – kill two birds with one stone.Room and Bath
- Sprinkle chagara in the tub instead of bath salts.
- Put chagara into a net or stocking and use for a body massage or face wash.

Expect to see my entry in… a few minutes. >__>
Dear you,
This contest ends in 8 hours.
-Love, us.
Create a fond memory, win a limited edition TARDIS hoodie in the process!
Ok. It’s time for another holiday giveaway courtesy of Doctor Who Tumblr and BBCAmericaShop!
The last three giveaways were fun — first you made fanart, then you wore holiday sweaters, then you went on a scavenger hunt — now we want you to do something nice…
BBCAmericaShop has these exclusive videos of Matt and Karen answering three holiday questions:
- What is your fondest holiday memory?
- What is the best holiday gift you’ve received?
- What is the best holiday gift you’ve ever given?
Matt was excited about giving his dad a watch.
Karen was excited about giving her friend nostril hair trimmers.
We want to know what are you going to do to create a ‘fondest holiday memory’ for a friend or family or neighbor this year?
Will you spend time with a friend you haven’t seen in a while? Cook Christmas breakfast for a parent? Give your little brother or sister a big box of Hanukkah gelt chocolates? Buy someone a combination wristwatch + nostril hair trimmers?
Whatever it is, share it and it just might win you something awesome!
- Create a post telling us how you’re going to create a fondest holiday memory for someone you love.
- Use text, use photos, use video — whatever works best (as usual, have fun with your post!)
- Tag it doctor+who+tumblr+fondest+holiday+memory
We will pick one winner at random to win a limited edition official Doctor Who TARDIS hoodie!
This is what it looks like:
This is what it would look like on you if it were a t-shirt with the logo on the front and you were Matt Smith:
And this is what we would look like if we were in the same room as you and the above were true:
And we’re sorry. We’re so so sorry, non-America, but again — this giveaway is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia.)
Read all of the official terms and conditions here.
If you win and you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian to sign for you.
The sweepstakes ends at 8pm EST Monday, December 12th!
So go do something nice for someone you love this holiday season.
(And when you’re done entering this contest, BBCAmericaShop is running a holiday sweepstakes to win two $500 gift cards(!) through The Facebook. You should go enter!)

Deliver Us/The River - Ofra Haza and Hans Zimmer (The Prince of Egypt OST)
this always earns an automatic reblog
this movie had fantastic music
Always reblog. My probably favorite cartoon, even if I don’t like a lot of concepts.
Forever reblog. This film is gorgeous..
omg yass
Ofra Haza’s voice is an absolute treasure. I wish she was still alive. :(
I loved this film, especially for the kickass music. ;u; Wish I still had the little bits of music from marching band… seven years ago.
